Ruby has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in the pthread-based getaddrinfo timeout handler of Ruby. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may allow an attacker to cause denial of service conditions to an affected system.

Users and Administrators are encouraged to review Ruby Security Advisory dated 20th May 2026 and apply necessary updates.
