SECTORIAL CERTs

To have an affective National CERT, Regulation 6(0) of EPOCA (Computer Emergency Response Team),2018 mandates TZ-CERT to coordinate other Sectorial Specific CERTs (S-CERTs).

Sectorial Computer Emergency Response Teams (S-CERTs) are specialized entities designed to facilitate collaboration and information sharing among organizations within a specific sector. These teams help their constituents, which are organizations of a similar nature or industry, enhance their cybersecurity posture and effectively respond to incidents. By fostering communication and cooperation, S-CERTs enable sector-specific entities to share cyber threat intelligence, best practices, and coordinated response strategies to mitigate and manage cybersecurity risks and incidents.

Sectorial CERTs services include information security incident management, Vulnerability management, situational awareness, knowledge transfer and information security events management.
